DJOKOVIC QUEST FOR RECORD BREAKING 25TH GRAND SLAM CONTINUES  FACE FRITZ  IN QUARTER FINALS IN MELBOURNE

Novak Djokovic will continue his quest for a record breaking 25th Grand Slam title on Tuesday as he faces American Taylor Fritz in the quarter final.

Djokovic who has recovered from initial illness at the early stage of the Grand Slam in Melbourne, obviously looks favourite having defeated France’s Adrian Mannarino with an emphatic 6-0 6-0 6-3 to equal Roger Federer’s record 58th reaching Slam quarter finals.

On Tuesday, Fritz will work to over-turn Djokovic dominance in their both matches with the Serb having won eight previous matches against the American 12th seed.

Meanwhile, Italy’s Jannik Sinner continued his impressive form defeating last year’s semi-finalist Karen Khachanov 6-4 7-5 6-3 and the 22 year-old has not drop a set after the victory. In other matches Russia’s Andrey Rublev dashed the hope of home boy Alex de Minaur from progressing to the quarter finals in Melbourne.

With both Jannik and Rublev in top form their quarter final match will definitely be an entertaining encounter at the Rod Laver Court Arena.
