ERLING HAALAND SCORES FIVE GOALS TO EQUAL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RECORD

Manchester City hope of winning the Champions League are still alive as the club stunned RB Leipzig 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium to cruise into the quarter finals with a 8-1 aggregate win.

RB Leipzig had held a 1-1 draw in Germany in the first leg but were shocked by phenomenal performance by world best performing forward Erling Haaland as he netted 5 goals to dump the club out of the Champions League. Although, Leipzig was gradually becoming regular in the competition and hope looked bright after the draw in Germany. The Haalnad annihilation by his five goals equaling Lionel Messi’s five goals in Champions League deserves honour from the visitors which signals a message to rest of Europe.

The match started with the Etihad Blues showing quick intent pressuring their opponent defense. It didn’t take long before the visitors were rattled with one of the world sort after defender Josko Gvardiol looking ordinary.
