RONALDO FEELS “BETRAYED” BY UNITED COULD MOVE TO BAYERN MUNICH

Portuguese international Christiano Ronaldo could be on his way out of Manchester United following an interview that has drawn global attention, claiming he was betrayed by Manchester United.

The 37 –year old told Piers Morgan that he feels “betrayed “ by the club and has “no respect” for manager Eik ten Hag.

“Manchester United tried to force me. Not only the manager, but also other guys who are around the club. I feel betrayed that some people didn’t want me at Manchester United and not only this year but last year too”.

“I don’t have respect for Erik ten Hag because he doesn’t show respect for me, it’s simple”. Christiano Ronaldo said in the interview.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has made a statement! “The club will consider its response after full facts have been established”.

“Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.”  The statement reads.

The circulating clips and quotes on the internet began just after United 2-1 win at Fulham, as 18 year-old Alejandro Garnacho grabbed the winner at stoppage- time at the Craven Coattage.

It’s rumoured  Ronaldo has held talks with Bayern Munich  for a potential move to the Allianz Arena, which he could seek a way out of Manchester United after the failing out of favour, This is despite the 37 year-old accusing United of  betraying” him and attempting forcing him out in a bombshell tell-all interview with Piers Morgan over the weekend.

The Portuguese football star obviously will now fly to Qatar where he is expected to captain Portugal at the World Cup 2022. His Manager, Jorge Mendes could hold talks with Bayern Munich and United for a move as they plot an escape-out of Old Trafford.

Again, with the growing tension beyond the tournament, it is hard to see the five-time Ballon D’or winner return to Old Trafford, with United likely to pay Ronaldo off in the January transfer window. The 37 year-old will have six months left on his current deal.
