TYSON FURY: IT’S OFFICIALLY OVER FOR JOSHUA

Tyson Fury has declared he will not be fighting Anthony Joshua after the Nigeria British boxer failed to sign the contract before 5pm on Monday.

Joshua had agreed to sign the contract but stated that the proposed contracting signing- document was still with his lawyers,

“It’s not in my hands, it’s with the legal team. Elaborating that’s why you hire lawyers, considering the history of boxing, make sure you get your legal terms right.

“Of course, I’m going to sign a contract. It’s just with some lawyer at the minute,” Joshua said.

Tyson Fury had announced that if Joshua failed to meet the deadline of 17: 00 BST on Monday, there will be no fight.

With the speculation of Gypsy King turning his attention to fight Manuel Charr in a fight that could take place in December, the fight with Joshua would be feasible following his statement after expiration time,

“D-day has come and gone. It’s gone past 5 o’clock Monday and no contract has been signed,” Fury said in his social media.

“It’s officially over for Joshua. Forget about it, he simply went on to say idiot, coward.

“Always knew it, always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gypsy King. Good luck with your career, end of.”

The aborted fight had what some pundits describe as a fair offer with Fury deal for the fight 60/40 in his favour. However, others strongly feel various broadcasting platforms involved had to be brought into agreement. Or! Could it be assumed that the big fight between the two British is coming too close after Joshua’s second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk?

Meanwhile, the Nigeria British boxer said he is interested in the fight in which the contract will be signed after his lawyer’s perusal. For Fury’s camp! Attention is speculated his fight before the end of the year could be against Charr.

This is due to anticipating an undisputed showdown with WBO, WBA, IBF title holder Oleksandr Usyk might not hold until next year as the Ukrainian has said he wouldn’t be stepping to the ring this year.
