EVERTON SET ATTENTION ON CHUKWUEZE AS REPLACEMENT FOR JAMES RODRIQUEZ

Everton are reportedly interested in Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze as a possible replacement for James Rodriguez should the Columbian return to Spain.

With coach Carlo Ancelloti departure to Real Madrid after leaving his job as manager of Everton, the Columbian player maker is reportedly keen, reuniting with the Italian who has been appointed the new boss at the Spaniard elite club. Rodriguez, who shocked many pundits with his rediscovered form and sterling performance for the Toffees last season, is being speculated, he can be convinced by the new manager to make a return to Real Madrid with just one year left on his contract with Everton.   

While the Yellow Submarine winger Chukwueze is perceived as an alternative for the Columbian who was a former Real Madrid player.

Chukwueze, 22, won the Europa League Cup for the first time in history with Villarreal last season and has played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s national team quest for qualification to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon
