EZENWA RETURNS TO SUPER EAGLES AS ROHR RELEASES 25man LIST FOR MEXICO FRIENDLY

Heartland of Owerri goaltender Ikechuchekwu Ezenwa makes a return to the Super Eagles as he joins Enyimba’s winger Anayo Iwuala in 25 man invited players from the Nigeria Professional League for Nigeria’s friendly against Mexico on July 4th.

Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has left out European base stars such as Leicester City Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Everton of England Alex Iwobi, as well as Belgium League Best Player and Golden Boot winner, Genk’s Paul Onuachu from the friendly which will be played in the United State of America.

The friendly game comes up after the double header friendly match against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon played earlier this month in Austria.
