NAOMI OSAKA WIN AUSTRALIAN OPEN BEATS BRADY
Japan’s Naomi Osaka has won the Australian Open defeating American Jennifer Brandy 6-4 6-3 to become the first woman since Monica Seles to win her first four Grand Slam finals.
Naomi, 23, kept to her excellent record at the final having defeated Serena Williams in the semi-final as she is now world best player on hard court according to pundits.
Osaka playing the 25 year- old American who defeated Karolna Muchov in the semi-final, knew her experience from playing her at the 2020 American Open was going to be important and deserves not to underrate her emerging force in tennis.
The Japanese tennis star had a shaky start with Brady taking her games smoothly before Osaka regain confidence to lead 3-1 after 14 first serves and double-faulted three times. Brady who was relaxed and played beautiful tennis with a love service game to draw level.
The game opened up with Osaka reminding herself of the American Open semi-final, she took the next six games in a row before Brady regain confidence striking her shots with big forehand and pulled two games back and searching for opportunities to overturn Naomi’s advantage.
But Osaka who have had a stellar performance at the grand slam major prove that she is able to handle herself at the biggest occasions and did calmly served out the match to love.
Meanwhile, the American Open Champion has praised Brady for the good performance as she is becoming a tennis star to reckon with in the game.

With the win Naomi Osaka clams her second Australian Open title following her success in 2019 Melbourne becoming a dominant force in the women’s tennis.
