NPFL LEAGUE 2020/2021 SEASON TO RESUME 6TH DECEMBER AS WARRI WOLVES FACE MFM FC IN LAGOS
The Nigerian Professional Football League season will resume on 6th December with eight time champions Enyimba International host Abia Warriors at the Aba Township Stadium.
Rivers United, the surprise team of last season will play Enugu Rangers, Rivers United will also represent Nigeria at the CAF Confederation Cup. In the match involving Uyo base teams, Akwa United will face Dakkada FC in a home derby at The Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo.
In other opening day matches, Lagos MFM FC will play against Warri Wolves at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, while Kano Pillars will face Adamawa United in Gombe.
Nasarawa United will host Wikki Tourists in Markurdi and Sunshine Stars will play Jigawa Golden Stars in Katsina.
The Nigerian Professional League defending Champion and Nigeria’s representative at the CAF Champions League, Plateau United will face Kwara United in Bauchi. The NPFL expected to end on the 4th July, 2021.
