MAN UNITED WIN 2-1 AGAINST PSG AT THE PARC DES PRINCES

English elite club Manchester United started their European Champions League campaign with a bang at the Parc des Princes with 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain despite Antonio Marshial scoring an own goal in the 55 minutes of the game.

Marcus Rashford who was in sparkling form netted the late strike to claim victory for Man United which coach Ole Gunner Solskjaer described the attitude of his players to the game as one with fluidity.

“These boys can play. They enjoyed it…..it’s taken a bit of time to get going. But we’ve certainly got our form back” Solskjaer said.

Bruno Fernandes who was captain for the night, put Man United ahead through a penalty in the 23 minutes. This set their moral in confidence after strings of poor result in the English Premier League, where they had suffered 6-1 defeat in the hands of Tottenham before making a comeback to beat Newcastle United 4-1 in their last premier league match before the visit to Paris.

“I’m just happy for them. I know we have a quite a few possibilities in the way we’re playing of course and you have to look at the opposition and how you want to play. I felt we played it right as we wanted it and all credit to them.

With the win, it comes as a boost ahead of their next premier league game against Chelsea on Saturday.
