SUPERLATIVE NEUER: BAYERN MUNICH CROWN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS FOR THE SIXTH TIME
German club Bayern Munich were crown European champions for the sixth time with 1-0 win over French club Paris St-Germain in Lisbon, Portugal, Sunday.
The Bayern team dominated possession for the duration of the 90 minutes with superlative saves from Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and lifting the trophy for the second time, thanks to Kingsley Coman who scored the only goal for the German team.

PSG had clearer opportunities in the first half to take the lead but failed to score with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe missing great chances, PSG manager,Thomas Tuchie watched his team fail to convert opportunities with the German international goalkeeper making great saves to keep score at nil level to the end of first half.
On resumption of the second half Bayern Munich continued with higher possession of play with offensive attacking game that eventually found the net in the 58 minutes as Kingsley Coman headed home a beautiful flight from Joshua Kimmick cross.
The game ended with the German club lifting the trophy for the sixth time and Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer winning the man of the match.
Meanwhile, Brazilian international and world most expensive player, Neymar congratulated Bayern Munich on the victory, which he took to the social media page to tweet his congratulatory message. Although, he attributed the victory to Bayern Leverkusen in what is considered typographical -error.
While his manager, Thomas Tuchie believes his team lacked efficiency, which he expected Neymar and Mbappe to have taken advantage of their first half chances but they failed to score. However, he praised his team for the effort and strong mentality.
