AC Milan went two goals down in second half but made a surprise comeback to beat Juventus 4-2 in Serie A game played Tuesday. Juventus took the lead with goals from Adrian Rabiot and Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo scored within a span of seven minutes.
Juventus who appeared to have smashed the three points, got a surprise turnaround of game tactics from Milan with offensive play which produced three goals in six minutes for Milan.
The Serie A table leader, the Old Lady collapsed after going up two goals with poor defending and lack class in sustaining the lead which saw the team conceding more goals in second half than they had in all of their Serie A matches combined since February 8.
Ante Rebic compounded the difficult situation for the Italian giants with an 80 minutes goal scored which set the Serie A leaders to defeat in a day the team lacked class defensively.
With the penalty goal from veteran Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 62 minutes for AC Milan, it propelled the team to scoring other three goals from Franck Kessie 66’, Rafael Leao 67’and Ante Rebic 80 minutes respectively.
Juventus would have gone 11 points clear at the top of table Serie A with a win. Instead Milan gets a massive three points that boost the club’s chance of Europa qualification.
