WORLD ATHLETICS ANNOUNCE RESTART FROM AUGUST TO OCTOBER 2020

The hope of athletes participating in athletics meet this season has been rekindled by World Athletics, as international athletics season of one –day meetings will hold between August and October 2020.

The suspension of major sporting activities around the world such as the African Cross- Country and African Senior Athletics Championship, no thanks to the global Covid-19 pandemic that halted the athletics meet and subsequent suspension.

But following the commitment of most Continental Tour Gold and Wada Diamond League meeting directors to organize their events on reschedule dates, athletics will come back alive.
