SEMENYA TO RACE FOR 200m 2020 OLYMPICS QUALIFYING
South African double Olympic 800m champion Caster Semenya has confirmed she wants to compete at the 200m at the 2020Tokyo Olympics.
Following a rule change by World Athletics governing body, the South Africa will not be allowed to compete in events between 400m and a mile without taking testosterone-reducing drugs.
Caster Semenya, Friday clocked a new personal best of 23.49s in the 200m which she won Provincial Title in her new effort in sprints. She hopes to run 22.80s before the Olympics, which will qualify her to 2020Tokyo Olympics.
