CLAUDE LE ROY RENEW CONTRACT AS TOGO MANAGER

Former Ghanian coach and current Togolese National team tactician Claude Le Roy has renewed his contract as Togo National Team Manager..

The veteran coach has been tasked with qualifying the Sparrow Hawks to the 2021 AFCON and 2022 World Cup tournaments.

The 71-ywar old Le Roy came under heated criticism last year bwhen he failed to guide the West African nation to the 2019 AFCON claiming he had promised to qualify for the tournament in Cameroon and not Egypt that was awarded the hosting rights after the former failed to prepare in time for the continental showpiece.

Claude Le Roy is former French player, he coached Senegal and Ghana.
