WORLD PARA ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP, FLORA UGWUNMA WIN SILVER

2017 Athletic Heat Para Athlete of the Year, Flora Ugwunwa won the silver medal in the Women’s Javelin Throw F54 with a best throw of 18.38m at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai.

The Athletes that represented the country, Flora Ugwunwa (F58 Javelin), Lauritta Onye (F40 Shotput), Unyime Uwak (T46 100m & 200m) & Ifeanyi Christian (T46 100m, 200m & 400m).
